在将 vCenter Server 从 5.0 升级到 5.1 ，尝试连接到现有数据库时报错：

Connection refused: connect. Verify the connection properties, check that an instance of SQL Server is running on the host and accepting TCP/IP connections at the port, and that no firewall is blocking TCP connections to the port.

连接被拒绝：连接。 验证连接属性，检查 SQL Server 的实例是否正在主机上运行并在端口接受 TCP/IP 连接，并且没有防火墙阻止 TCP 连接到端口。

解决方案：

打开 SQL 服务器配置管理器

选择 SQL Server Network Configuration 并单击 Protocols for VIM_SQLXP（在我的例子中是服务器名称 VIM_SQLEXP）
确保 TCP/IP 已启用，如下所示

现在右键单击 TCP/Ip 并选择属性

从顶部选项卡菜单中选择 IP 地址。

现在确保设置如以下

IP12 TCP Port 1433
IPALL TCP Port 1433

完成后重新启动 SQL 服务器服务，如下所示，然后重新尝试连接数据库。
